Client
A client is a computer that retrieves information from or uses resources provided by the server or main computer. Many corporate networks are comprised of a client computer at each of the employees' desks. Each client connects to a central server or mainframe that allows processing to be done on the client side instead of the server side and reduces the processing requirements of the server.
